SNOW

so it snowed. what more is there to say. i am not a winter person at all! it's only gotten worse now that i had the last two winters off living in the south. we have really been staying put inside the last couple days due to the fact... i have a terrable fear of driving in bad winter roads. i really hate it. i feel like how some of you feel about small spaces or heights... like i said that has only gotten worse sence i haven't had to do any winter driving the last 2 winters. also now that i have 2 kids with me it's gotten worse for me too. i feel so responsable! i've been spending my days of dreaming of one day once again moving back to the south. i love warm warm warm all the time. i try not to be so not into winter i don't play with Gracie out in the snow. we did help her build her first snow man the other day. i think she really liked that. i just don't want to be a lazy mom ... that was fun. i do like sledding in snow too. so that's one thing i like about the winter. our sunday's sermon was on not complaining but finding the good in every area. so i need to try harder... to enjoy winter & the coziness about it. like movie nights with hot chocolate is always a favorite of mine. winter gives me less guilt for being lazy...

i have a million new years goals i wrote down and am trying to work on. one is putting my kids before my work . i do give them time but it's so easy for me to try to get all my work done then give them time & get annoyed if they don't let me. i've been haveing alot of guilt about this lattely but then the other day my sister said - at least i'm home with my kids. that made me feel alot better. sometimes i think we as mom beat our sleves up to much. we can't be perfect (and yes we should try) but we should give our selves room to mess up some. i love being a mom & i think sometimes i stress cause i want to be the very BEST mom too.

like i said we've been sitting around at home alot more these past few days so that has been giving me some estra time , like to take picutres of my kids, lots of pictures. so here goes.

Christmas is coming so fast i almost get scard. it's gonna be over to soon. i feel like i can't treasure this time of year enough. i just love it. this year the aww  of how blessed i am really struck me harder then normal. i am so blessed. i could make a list for you but i think you get the point. it's so fun having kids at christmas time. Gracie will esp. be a fun age this year & will hopefully "get it" more. Isaac, well it's his first christmas so it will be special know matter what. these next couple weeks are busy busy here. making cookies and stuff like that. i must say i wish christmas didn't come right after having a baby. all the "baby fat" i still have on me just gets me depressed now thinking of all the good food i will be eating... grrr. it's hard not to eat at christmas time.

i want to make a special section here just to say ... congrats to my sister Joy & Vinney on the ENGAGEMENT! we are so excited got both of  you. so now this winter will not be so boring after all, with all the planning. i think there getting married in may or june.

we kinda have this tradishion that the night before a holiday we all sleep together... i love this picture because it is the morning of thanksgiving, Isaac's first... he's laying there wide awake  while daddy & Gracie sleep on. it's fun all sleeping togther just hot & tight... you can see there were my little spot in the bed was before i got up... yes, smooshed in the middle. but it's fun all waking up together...

It feels good to be back in the world of xanga again. it's been awhile. i don't have to much to share about my life. i'm at home alot just attending to my now 2 children. i love every minute of it. i was asked the other day what would be my dream job. the only thing that came to mind is my job i have now. being a mother. it's always been my dream to have children. i'm at aww sometimes that we actually have 2 children. Jason came home last night & was like " what is it that you actually do in a days time" not out of rudeness but just likes to hear. it's weird some days i'm not sure what i do. all i know is they got bathed & fed & naps etc. there's days of seriouse stress. the days Gracie's potty training is not the best & days Isaac just dosn't feel like sleeping all that much. but it's sorth it. i have more problems with just putting them to the side & trying to get my work all done THEN give time to them. that is one eara i am terribly trying to work at right now. they will only be young once. my work can wait. they are my mission in life not my house looking perfect & a check off on my list of "to do's."
